working hard to create quality products using the best and safest ingredients we can get.

And there are lots of other companies doing the same thing! Unfortunately though, the Cosmetics industry (which includes shampoos, conditioners, and other stuff also) is not really regulated by the government. This means that some companies get away with putting some really bad chemicals into their products. Some chemicals that may even be dangerous to you are making their way into some shampoo bottles.

As a result, there has been a lot in the newspapers recently about making safer cosmetics!  One group in particular has been working really hard to make sure all the products out there are safe.  The group is called Marin Cancer Project’s Safe Cosmetics Campaign.  It is a group of teenage girls who are making a huge difference (talk about real tweenBeauties!).  So, instead of us telling you about safe and healthy products and ingredients, we encourage you to check out their website for the answers.
